ISL Conference Proxy releases apply to server license owners only
Server License
Upgrades are free of charge for ISL Online Server License users with active Extended Support Service. ISL Online Server License users with expired Extended Support Service are welcome to purchase Extended Support Service in order to gain access to the newly released ISL Online Server system. In case you have extended ESS you will need to create new license file and upload it to your ISL Conference Proxy server.
Quick Instructions for users with ISL Conference Proxy 3.1 installed
- open web administration of ISL Conference Proxy http://localhost:7615/conf
- login using admin account
- click Online update link in left navigation
- click Apply changes if you have automatic install

New features
ISL Conference Proxy support for downloading translation package files. Translatable items include:
- ISL Conference Proxy users' web pages
- all downloadable software
ISL Conference Proxy web administration stays untranslated (English).
CPU usage monitor includes I/O wait process time on Linux.
ISL Network Start downloads and executes signed executables. Improves compatibility with certain Antivirus products.
ISL Light users' web page includes:
- last 10 sessions
- session history search with XML export
CPU load is included in load balancing penalty score.
CPU load is used to throttle various low priority tasks. Improves server responsiveness.
ISL Network Start executable is approx. 210-220 KB in size. Previous size: 270-280 KB.
Modules can configure program downloads to use user supplied icons.
ISL Light sessions started from web use Desk's customization.
ISL Light speed improvement when requesting code. Prevents short network traffic delays for other running sessions.
Consistency table synchronization is faster. Improves the case, when two GRID servers reconnect after a period being disconnected.
Defect fixes
ISL Network Start fails to download executables on some slow (dial-up) links.
Crash can occur on ISL Conference Proxy with a high number of clients - usually caused by ISL AlwaysOn.
Download instructions were removed - application start up links point directly to executables. Minimizes chance for errors and warnings, especially for Internet explorer users.
Executable .desktop files use unambiguous extraction perl script escaping. Improves compatibility with desktop managers like XFCE.
Program generator cache is periodically cleaned. Additional server list (GRID installations only) does not cause unnecessary cache invalidations.
DNS server does not respond at all, when no server for certain service exists. Prevents unnecessary caching of negative responses.
