Upgrading to new version
Hosted Service
ISL Conference Proxy releases are not applicable for hosted service. ISL Online administrators install server side updates.
Server License
Upgrades are free of charge for ISL Online Server License users with active Extended Support Service. ISL Online Server License users with expired Extended Support Service are welcome to purchase Extended Support Service in order to gain access to the newly released ISL Online Server system. In case you have extended ESS you will need to create new license file and upload it to your ISL Conference Proxy server.

- create a new packet for the ISL Conference Proxy 3.1.0
- Follow readme.html.
Improvements
Major improvements
ISLGroop 1.0.0 Server Module
ISL Groop has been released for Server License users (http://www.islgroop.com).
ISL Light 3.1.0 Server Module
ISL Light 3.1.0 server module to support ISL Light Desk and ISL Light Client 3.1.0. ISL Recording Player has been released to support playback of ISL Light session recordings.
Programs integration
ISL Conference Proxy now nativelly supports building custom ISL LIght Client, ISL Light Desk, ISL Groop and other programs. With this there is no need for creating packets on http://www.islonline.com pages. Programs are automatically downloaded using ISL Network start program which automatically caches files downloaded (full file is downloaded only once).
Web pages for users
Web pages for ISL Conference Proxy has been added which support login, set preferences and custom pages for modules.
Improved web administration for user management
User management has been greatly simplified.
Improved web administration for online updates
Online update pages has been redesigned to be more intuitive. Support for beta releases has also been added.
New Server Modules - Network time, Locale, GeoIP, System Monitor
Network time module is used to synchronize internal ISL Conference Proxy clock to correct global time. This fixes problems when server clock was not set correctly and due to this problem there were wrong times in session list, ...
Locale module handles time zones for web pages.
GeoIP has been updated to latest database of IPs.
System monitor monitors CPU loads, free disk space, etc.

System Monitor module, monitors various system variables (CPU usage, RAM, ...)
NTP (network time protocol) for accurate time synchronization. Also greatly simplifies GRID installations.

Web administration

Program packages support, supersedes ISL Light packets.
Web administration ported to Javascript to reduce the load on server to minimum. IE 5.5 (instead of IE 5.0) is now required as a minimum.

Support for custom web pages. Administrator can now setup web pages for users, which are served by ISL Conference Proxy.
Advanced load balancing configuration integrated into web administration. Greatly simplifies GRID installation.
