ISL Light 3.1.0 for Linux and Mac (2008-09-24)

Whiteboard functionality is now available when streaming desktop.

User can now enable admin mode on the remote side. If the remote side does not support it, this option is greyed out.

User can now enable restart and resume on the remote side. If the remote side does not support it, this option is greyed out.

User can now enable keyboard and mouse control in the desktop sharing request/grant dialog. If the remote side does not support it, this option is greyed out.

An existing file was overwritten by a new version when the user chose to save it. Now the user is presented with a dialog to choose to replace the existing file or to keep the existing file and save the new file to a new file name.

When a shared application is not the topmost at a given moment, application sharing is paused. Now a visible notification appears in the ISL View that informs the user about paused sharing.

When streaming linux desktop to a linux client, it stopped after a few seconds. Now it works correctly.

Program occasionally crashed or locked up after a desktop sharing session. Stability is now improved.

Program occasionally crashed on exit instead of terminating properly. Stability is now improved.

When transferring large files, program consumed a lot of memory. Now it works correctly.

Mouse pointer alignment problems occured as a result of manual ISL View window resizing. Resizing is now done solely through toolbar +/- buttons and the pointers stay aligned.

When a user right-clicked on the chat text, default context menu (Copy; Select all) appeared instead of the intended ISL Light context menu (Clear; Copy). Now it works correctly.

If both Desk and Client connected to the same server and there was no need to reroute the Client to another server, everything worked ok. If Client needed to be rerouted to another server, it returned an error after entering a valid code ("Session does not exist or not in session."). Now rerouting works correctly.

Drag & drop file transfer did not work in cases when no prior manual file transfer operations have been done, because plugin had not been loaded yet. Now it works correctly.

The value of this check box was not saved and it was not enabled by default. Now it works correctly.

If the remote side supports this feature, it should be checked by default. Now it works correctly.

If the remote side stops streaming its desktop by closing the program, ISL View on the viewing side remains open and frozen. Now it works correctly.

ISL Light windows did not have an icon. An icon was added.

When a user copied chat history using the chat history context menu, the result was in HTML format instead of plain text. Now it works correctly.

Tooltips were too wide, expanding up to the screen width. Some tooltips were missing. Tooltip width is now set to a reasonable size and missing tooltips have been added.

After the remote computer had been restarted (having previously enabled administrative mode and restart and resume options), ISL View on the viewing side was frozen. Now it works correctly.

Drop-down lists were not showing any drop-down list items and checkboxes were changed to radio buttons. Now these items work correctly.

Data entered into an EOS dialog was not transferred to Conference Proxy and as a result it was missing in the session history. Now it works correctly.

If EOS dialog was present through customization and the client entered the session code followed by pressing key, the EOS dialog was shown and an error was displayed ("Server reported error: please enter the correct session code."). Now it works correctly.

When viewing a region-shared stream, the ISL View was not properly displaying the region, especially after a region resize on the streaming side. Now it works correctly.

If a user closed the program using the window close button and the customization included an EOS dialog, it was not shown in this case. Now it works correctly.

When background image was supposed to be disabled under gnome, it did not work. Now it works correctly.

ISL View control indicator (local/remote) was not properly showing current status and the 3 second control switch delay was missing, so the streaming side could not regain mouse control properly. Now both work correctly.

When background image was supposed to be disabled on mac, it did not work. Now it works correctly.

Desktop sharing did not terminate properly on mac (plugin indicator remained enabled). Now it works correctly.

When ISL Light Client 2.2.2rc2 for Windows rejected a sent file, program crashed. With ISL Light Client version 3.0.0 or newer, this issue was not present. Now it works correctly.

When trying to send a file to ISL Light Client 2.2.2rc2 for Windows while file transfer was not enabled by the client, an error message was missing. Now it works correctly.

When ISL Light Client 2.2.2rc2 for Windows granted control with F12, whiteboard buttons in ISL View toolbar were not disabled. Now they are disabled while in control and re-enabled when the client revokes control (by pressing F12 again).

Background was not removed when starting desktop sharing with ISL Light Client 2.2.2rc2 for Windows. With version 3.0.0 or newer, this issue was not present. Now it works correctly.
