Server License
Upgrades are free of charge for ISL Online Server License users with active Extended Support Service. ISL Online Server License users with expired Extended Support Service are welcome to purchase Extended Support Service in order to gain access to the newly released ISL Online Server system. In case you have extended ESS you will need to create new license file and upload it to your ISL Conference Proxy server.
Quick Instructions for users with ISL Conference Proxy 3.1 installed
- open web administration of ISL Conference Proxy http://localhost:7615/conf
- login using admin account
- click Online update link in left navigation
- click Apply changes if you have automatic install
Improvements
Added slider movement by clicking and dragging. Backward and forward of playback.
Implement threads to achieve better performance of rendering at playback and exporting.
Add Video stream (VNC-Desktop and Chat stream already done) in playing and exporting. Added some settings too in "Settings" menu.
Use DockWidgets to easily change the layout of streams at playing and exporting too. Resizing, docking, closing of dock panels available.
-Add "About" menu with basic information about ISL Recording Player.
-Add "Properties (Recording info)" menu with information about currently opened recording like: "file location", "channels", "number of saved states",...
-Update "Settings" menu with "Export" tab, where layout of exported recording will be chosen, and "Advanced" tab, where Player's resources like "Max System RAM used for checkpoints" and "Time interval of saving states" can be seen.
Playing speed can be set by right-click on PlayerControlWidget(Play/Pause/Stop buttons).
5 different speed is available:
-Very slow playback (0.2x)
-Slow playback (0.5x)
-Normal playback (1x)
-Fast playback (2x)
-Very fast playback (5x)
Optimize speed of loading playback state when jumping to different time positions with slider. State (checkpoint, restorepoint) consists of VNC-Desktop, Chat and Video stream. Default time interval of saving states is 3000 ms, and can be seen in menu "Settings->Advanced".
Because this states reserve a lot of resources (system RAM), compromises have to be made. Density function of checkpoints in a period of time is used and compared with "ideal" function. Ideal density of checkpoints is large if close to the current playback-time and becomes smaller if we look far from the current position. This is because of the nature of human watching of the recordings: Most of people move slider only a little far from the current time position. Saved states (checkpoints) are then deleted where needed, according to the density function mentioned above.
Fixed bug at chat stream, now if line of text in Chat stream is too long, writing is done in new line.
Session_id and time_when_recorded lines have been added to the header of ISL Recording (.isr files). This 2 lines are compared to find, if there exists (in the same folder) any recording that was recorded (in same session) after currently opened recording. If yes "NEXT" button in "Player Control" panel becomes clickable. Beside "NEXT" button, there is "PREVIOUS" button added too at the "Player Control". If we play recording till the end and next recording exists, then a question message-box is displayed to automatically play the next available recording.
Fullscreen Interface view avaliable in menubar. Maximizes the window and hides the frame.
