ISL Conference Proxy 3.2.8 for Windows and Linux (2009-09-25)

Update 2009-10-07: Windows release of ISL Conference Proxy 3.2.8a is available from online update.
Update 2009-09-28: Windows release of ISL Conference Proxy 3.2.8 has been removed from online update due to problems when run on Windows 2000 computers. The corrected version will be available in few days. If you upgraded the server and you can not install modules please reinstall version 3.2.7 or contact support@islonline.com. If you use Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2008 or Windows XP/Vista you can download installer for ISL Conference Proxy 3.2.8 from here: http://www.islonline.com/files/ISL_Conference_Proxy_3_2_8_win32.exe.

ISL Conference Proxy releases apply to server license owners only
Server License
Upgrades are free of charge for ISL Online Server License users with active Extended Support Service. ISL Online Server License users with expired Extended Support Service are welcome to purchase Extended Support Service in order to gain access to the newly released ISL Online Server system. In case you have extended ESS you will need to create new license file and upload it to your ISL Conference Proxy server.
Quick Instructions for users with ISL Conference Proxy 3.1 installed
- open web administration of ISL Conference Proxy http://localhost:7615/conf
- login using admin account
- click Online update link in left navigation
- click Apply changes if you have automatic install
Improvements
New features
System monitor now provides load data for each CPU core.
ISL Conference Proxy now has /network_status page with statistics. Users with "View network status" can view the status page.
Usernames can now contain spaces.
HTTPS can be now configured: SSL protocol, SSL ciphersuite, SSL certificate chain.
Web caching can be now configured with the setting "Web cache (<PathRegex> <CacheControl>)".
Web filters can be now configured with the setting "Filters that define access to web pages".
Database index rebuild was improved - 2x faster.
Service usage now includes Connection tester count, HTTP connections as web pages count, Network start count.
GRID licenses now also include serverX-*.domain entries.
DNS's IP and clients IP are taken into load balancing decisions for GeoIP.
GRID file storage synchronization uses less CPU and resolves missing files faster.
When ISL AlwaysOn computer reconnects back to ISL Conference Proxy it skips some DB query steps in case configuration is the same.
Newest ISL AlwaysOn module supports pushing upgrades to ISL AlwaysOn computers.
Defect fixes
Workaround for a system memory leak in afd.sys kernel driver is provided in ISL Conference Proxy and Network time module.
DNS server and ISL Light do not serve network requests until ISL Conference Proxy is fully initialized.
Several fixes for web pages in ISL Conference Proxy, which affect ISL Groop.
ISL Conference Proxy uninstall fails some times, a workaround for removing the service is provided.
